Finishing Touches

We are very pleased and will enjoy this updated renewal at our house.

Before putting on the final sealing coat, one thing they had to do was put down prestained/finished oak wood thresholds at some of the entrances to rooms in the hallway.  He used one each to the 2 rooms that were carpeted, and one at the bathroom entrance.  Nothing was needed at the threshold of small bedroom as the floors were the same level.

The threshold strips match pretty well. They are just a tad lighter.
Note: We have new, white primed, solid wood doors to replace all the 50 year-old hollow doors. I will paint the doors and trim in these rooms also.
